Individual Psychotherapy
I offer individual psychotherapy using an integrative approach, based on the evidence-based models of therapy I have trained in which include; EMDR, DBT, ACT, CBT, Compassion-Focused Therapy and Psychodynamic psychotherapy to best support my clients. I specialise in working with adults from the age of 18 and up.
I have experience working with people who are experiencing trauma, anxiety (and anxiety-related conditions) and depression. I also work with people who may be struggling with low self-esteem, emotion dysregulation or unhelpful behavioural patterns.

Special Interest
I have experience working with people who have a long term health condition and/or chronic pain. I have completed specialist training in using psychological approaches adapted for supporting people with are living with a long-term health condition. This includes:
* Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT)
* CBT for chronic pain
* Compassion-focused therapy for people with physical health problems
* Acceptance and commitment therapy for chronic pain.
I work in collaboration with MS-UK to provide group support to people living with MS.
I am a member of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP).
Couples and Partners Psychotherapy
I offer couples/partners therapy to people in a relationship who are facing intimacy issues, communication breakdown, betrayals and infidelity, sexual difficulties, navigating differences in relationships and the repetition of unhelpful themes and patterns in the relationship.
Please note that if sexual difficulties are the core issue you will likely require the support of a specialist psychosexual therapist.
I use Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT) as a framework for working with couples. EFCT is an evidence-based approach to working with couples that focuses on helping couples to develop a more secure and connected relationship with one another.

I offer training to teams and organisations on a number of different topics including:
– understanding and managing common mental health conditions
– enhancing wellbeing in the workplace
-using self-compassion to enhance wellbeing

Supervision is an essential part of professional development and growth. It provides a forum for discussion, reflection and development, enabling clinicians to extend their professional knowledge and skills.
