Most of us have a loud inner critic. The voice in our head that tells us that we failed or that we’re not good enough. In fact, I would bet that you would never dream of saying the things you say to yourself out loud to another person. You would feel like a bully!

Compassion-Focused Therapy or CFT focuses on helping people to develop a more compassionate and empathic relationship with themselves. This is not about letting yourself off the hook or not taking accountability when you make mistakes but being able to see yourself realistically and with compassion and understanding.
